The legal notice (特定商取引法に関する表記) says refunds are generally available if your device isn't eSIM-compatible or SIM-lock-unlocked, for buyer-side reasons such as a wrong purchase, a changed plan or a cancelled trip, or if you can't connect at your destination. It says refunds can be refused for plans that include a phone number, purchases more than 30 days old, claims made after you return home, plans with 30% or more of the data already used, and buyer-side cancellations paid at a convenience store. But the Japan product pages say that returns, exchanges and refunds for the buyer's own reasons are not possible at all. Ask eSIM-san on LINE (@esim-san) before you buy if the refund matters to you. |

Can I tether / use eSIM-san's Japan eSIM as a hotspot?
eSIM-san doesn't state hotspot support on its Japan product pages — treat it as unconfirmed rather than assuming yes.
